Heartful of Ingredients
Why a rainbow smoothie? Because the are delicious, satisfying. and I was in the mood for a cool refreshing nutritious easy breakfast. It doesn’t get much easier than a smoothie. Blend and you’re done. Perfect. A smoothie can be an entire meal or enjoyed with a small dish.
What ingredients are best? For instance, there are so many colorful fruit and veggie options it looks just like a rainbow just pick a couple. That is to say, before you toss it all together and create a refreshing smoothie think of how they will taste together.
Fresh or frozen ingredient options:
- Organic Strawberries
- Baby Spinach
- Organic Blueberries
Don’t get crazy with too many ingredients. Using too many you can end up with an unappealing brownish smoothie. Probably will still taste amazing but we tend to eat with our eyes first. So, experiment and keep it simple.
