For the longest time, I was only buying fresh mango pre-cut. My previous attempts at cutting mango left me with a big yellow mess with the only possibility of use being a smoothie. Plus, I would always seem to have leftover goodness along the skin that I was scrapping away with a spoon. How-to cut a mango was my next search.
Google to the rescue. I was tired of spending a fortune $$ for the pre-cut stuff that cost a fortune when the fresh mango is so much better. I’m totally a visual person and a skim reader so finding a how-to video was a must.

Once I had cut my fair share of mangos and felt confident I knew I needed to share the 2 easiest methods of how-to cut a mango with you all.
Very simple to cut when you avoid the seed. Slice length wise turn and slice again. The key is to not cut through the skin.
An additional way to cut is to peel the skin. Slice in half, again avoiding the seed. Peel and slice off the flesh.
