Vegan mayonnaise, yogurts, sour cream, and plant-based milk products are all very different. Three musts for finding the best ones are to: read labels, sample, and take advice from your favorite foodies. My soy-free favorite mayo is Follow Your Heart Soy-Free Vegenaise.
For those of you who don’t have an issue with soy, my all-time favorite brand is Just Mayo. My go-to vegan yogurt is So Delicious plain. If you’re not concerned about soy, grab Tofutti Sour Cream it really gives the ranch that rich creamy texture.
The rest of the ingredients use fresh when you can. Dried herbs work great too.
Worried About Allergies?
Worry no more. This recipe is perfect for anyone who suffers from food allergies. My family has plenty: gluten, corn, soy, and nut… seems like we can’t eat anything! But we can and so can you. This recipe is proof that food allergy sufferers don’t have to eat flavorless bland foods.
There is no need for dairy to make a savory, creamy, delicious, vegan dressing. Family and friends won’t be able to stop dipping anything they can grab. Great as a side for fresh veggies, and awesome for dipping cauliflower buffalo wings into.

Ingredients
- 1 cup vegan mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup non-dairy milk
- 1/3 cup vegan plain yogurt or vegan sour cream
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1/8 cup chopped fresh chives or finely chopped scallions (green onions)
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Chill until cold and serve.
- Pair with fresh vegetables, favorite salad, cauliflower buffalo wings, chips, crackers, endless options.
