Almost homemade gluten free waffles are easy and customizable. Almost is a stretch. Really just follow the box, make it vegan add some fresh fruit, ta da your awesome!
Really make all your recipes reflect your taste. If you want to use bananas, use them. Want to use raspberries, have a ball !
Infused ALMOST homemade gluten free waffles. Whole Food, Whole Life!
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Gluten free vegan waffle mix
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup sliced pears
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla
- 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon or lime
Instructions
- Follow your favorite gluten free, vegan box mix.
- In large sauce pan warm syrup vanilla and lemon or lime for one minute.
- Add fresh fruit to maple syrup mixture. Heat until fruit is warmed.
- Serve over freshly made waffles.
Notes
If your gluten free waffle mix uses eggs, substitute ground flax seed; 1 tablespoon ground flax to 3 tablespoons water, sit for 5 minutes, makes one egg.
